We’re excited to have these new, larger format “Flexible”prints. These are also hand screen printed and they look beautiful! The design for the new 24″ x 36” format is very slightly different from the other sizes. I love coming across different takes on the same image, like the thousands of variations of the Mary of Guadalupe for example, all so similar but each with a small bit of uniqueness that sets it apart.

Chapter 76 of the Tao Te Ching describes how being rigid and uncompromising makes us behave the way dead things behave. Dry leaves, dead wood, corpses. These things are stiff and brittle. When we behave in a way that is flexible and yielding we behave like things that are living. Green leaves, living branches and stems, living bodies. Even skyscrapers and bridges need to be designed to sway and bend in order to withstand wind and earthquakes.
